Random but important thoughts

A few random training tips…

1.       Don’t expect to feel great at every workout. The ones you struggle through will make you mentally stronger.

2.       Appreciate/celebrate your good workouts!

3.       Training is about making mistakes. Just be sure to learn from them.

4.       If you have an extra hard training session, pat yourself on the back for gutting it out.

5.       Lean on your training partners, let your training partners lean on you.

6.       Accept that it takes time to recover after a race or being sick.
