Nailed it

What a great feeling it is to nail a workout.

Last week’s track practice I struggled to nail the goal split and failed. Today at track practice, I nailed it.

From experience, I know the difference a day or week can make. There is no way you will ever nail every hard workout, so when you do, boy, does it feel good! One more ounce of confidence  to add to the collection.

My prescribed workout was…

4 x 1200 in 4:24 (5:58 pace) w/ 90   … Actual: 1200’s in 4:21, 4:22, 4:22, 4:23

2K (1.25) in 7:30 (6 pace) w/ 90  … 2K in 7:30   

 4 x 400 in 84 (5:36 pace_ w/1 min  … 400’s in 1:22, 1:22, 1:23 & 1:24
